AUGUST 6, 2010----FRIDAY NIGHT OUT AT THE CONNER PRAIRIE SYMPHONY ON THE PRAIRIE---bring your lawn chairs, snacks and drinks and enjoy the music and fellowship under the stars. Hear the group-- "Time For Three" --presenting the most sensational jam session of the season. This group draws calls for 'More-More-More' wherever they play their unique renditions of classical, jazz, gypsy, bluegrass, country, pop, and hip hop. You will be astonished at their talent!

Women’s Retreat
All ladies are invited to attend the Fall Fellowship retreat at Covenant Harbor in September. Registration forms are available in the narthex. Please see the insert for more details. We are looking at going the second weekend (Sept. 24-26). Please give your registration form/fee or deposit to Laura Miller. She will also be happy to answer any questions.

BWCA Trip
Pastor Tom is planning a Boundary Waters Canoe Trip, Sept. 10-18. The cost of the trip is approximately $250 for transportation, camping supplies, food, etc. If you are interested in going or have any questions, please let him know.

Knitopia
Knitopia will meet again on Thursday this week at 6:30 PM at Marika Harvey’s home(6549 Blossom Lane, Indy, 46278) Bring along your latest knitting project or we’ll be happy to help you learn the basics. Tuesday AM Men’s Group Update
The Tuesday AM Men’s Group is currently studying One Month to Live. This week, we will be discussing Chapter 9. All men are invited to attend. The group meets at 7AM in Pastor Tom’s office.

Worship Arts Opportunity - The Worship Arts Gallery is now featuring works of art by Doug Hart. Please take time to look and enjoy the photography that he has done.

Prayer Chain - Hope’s Prayer Chain Ministry is available for your prayer concerns. It currently goes out via email to 40 individuals who have committed to pray and maintain confidentiality. Please specify your concern for the prayer chain.

Alchoholics Anonymous are meeting at our church on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm. This is a great outreach for our community, and please be sure to welcome the men if you should meet them on Wednesday evening.

Practice Hospitality! One way we can do this is through coffee hour after church on Sunday mornings. This time gives us an opportunity to connect with visitors as well as other church members in a meaningful way. Contact the church office, 575-8161 to find an open spot!
