NCD Survey results - On Wednesday, July 30th, at 6:00 p.m., Peter Sjoblom will be at Hope to reveal the scores from the latest N.C.D. survey and express information and thoughts where he sees Hope. There will be a dinner of grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and refreshments beforehand.
Midweek Prayer Meeting - Beginning Wednesday, May 28th, everyone is invited to join together for prayer at 6:30 PM in the sanctuary. There will be a time of individual silent prayer, sharing of requests, and group prayer. This will be an important time to pray for our church and our nation, as well as any other concerns you may have personally. If you would like to attend and need child care, please notify the church office.
Boundary Waters Canoe Trip - Adults of all ages are invited to experience a great adventure August 29-September 6 canoeing the BWCA in northern Minnesota. The BWCA offers some of the finest backcountry canoeing and fishing in the world. The cost is $225 per person. Information/registration is located at the Information Center in the narthex. The trip host is Pastor Tom, and he will be happy to answer any questions you may have. (Ladies, this invitation is open to you as well! Laura Miller is planning to go on the trip and would be happy to answer any questions you may have!)
Congregation Needs and Concerns - If you have a need or concern that you would like to have pastoral assistance with, or would like to have shared with the Hope congregation via all church email, please be sure to notify Pastor Tom, Pastor Evan, or Laura Miller.
Prayer Chain - Hope’s Prayer Chain Ministry is available for your prayer concerns. It currently goes out via email to 40 individuals who have committed to pray and maintain confidentiality. Please specify your concern for the prayer chain.
HOOP Volunteer training - If you are interested in the HOOP organization, Please contact Linda Cuff at 625-4479 or goldilocks@indy.rr.com to register if you have any questions.
Alchoholics Anonymous are meeting at our church on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm. This is a great outreach for our community, and please be sure to welcome the men if you should meet them on Wednesday evening.
Need Prayer? We have a dedicated prayer warrior available! To activate the prayer chain, write your request on a registration card in your bulletin or contact Kathy Truitt (244-1985) or call the church office (575-8161).
Practice Hospitality! One way we can do this is through coffee hour after church on Sunday mornings. This time gives us an opportunity to connect with visitors as well as other church members in a meaningful way. Contact the church office, 575-8161 to find an open spot!
