Welcome to the "Women of Hope Ministries" page!

Women Ministries exists to advance God's kingdom through ministries that equip women to grow, serve and reach out with the gospel of Jesus Christ. How? By connecting women in transformational relationships and uniting them in Christ to impact our world.

Women’s Bible Study
The Monday Afternoon Women’s Bible Study will begin a new series on the Gospel of John this Monday at 12:30 PM at the church. All ladies are welcomed and invited to attend!

**Hearts and Hands
Ladies, plan to come to Hearts and Hands this Tuesday at 6PM here at the church. We will enjoy dinner together and then begin work on our projects. Currently, we are trying to finish layettes for the Congo hospitals plus we are knitting wool hats for the Fighting Flamingos in Afghanistan (Marika’s brother-in-law, Jeff Chapman, and his unit). We have about 12 hats finished and need to make a total of 17, ASAP. If you plan to help knit a hat, bring a set of size 7 or 8 long needles or double points, or a size 7 or 8 – 16” circular knitting needle. The wool yarn is provided. Also, if you can, bring a sewing machine and sewing supplies. We are in need of more flannel fabric (solids or prints in bright colors) for the layettes. Come and enjoy the fellowship while we work on these worthwhile projects!

Knitopia
Meets on Thursdays at 6:30 PM at Marika Harvey’s home…Not sure if we should add more specifics on location then that… if ladies are interested in attending they can contact the church office for more info. We area knitting group but not exclusively so. There are ladies who crochet, do needle felting, spinning, and other hand crafts. We meet every other week opposite the Hearts and Hands week. We always have yummy food and great fellowship. We enjoy “field trips” to fiber festivals and usually have a knitting cruise on Eagle Creek Reservoir in the summer.

Hearts and Hands
!Hearts and Hands meets at 6PM every other Tuesday (opposite of Knitopia week) at the church. We are finished with the pillowcase dress project for now. We will continue with our fleece blanket ministry and other charity projects. We also enjoy just working on our own hand crafts now and then, but primarily have a missions/ ministry focus. We always enjoy dinner together before we begin our work for the evening.
